The E-learning System Implementation in an Organization
Kašpárek, David ; Chrást, Aleš (referee) ; Neuwirth, Bernard (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on choosing, configuring and implementing an e-learning system, considering its performance, reliability and functions which leads to a simplier and an overall enhanced learning and educational process, opposed to the traditional one. The result should be an e-learning system saving not only financial resources but also human ones.
Adaptive filtering of ECG Signals
Nejezchleba, Zdeněk ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim was to test the methods for suppression 50 Hz noise with adaptive filtering. When using the general scheme of adaptive and deterministic scheme to suppress hum. The work is a theoretical derivation of adaptive algorithms and some examples of modeling in MATLAB.
Integration of E-Learning into the Process of Employee Education
Wohlgemuth, Jan ; Šild, Jan (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis examines the possibility to implement elearning in the educational process at HOPE – E. S. , v.o.s. The thesis compared the competitive opportunities of LMS systems, and selected one particular solution. The chosen solution is further specified, including the possible implementation and description of the environment. The last part is a proposed structure of the courses and supplementary materials for ongoing full-time courses.
Chemical Calculations E-learning Study Materials Processing
Košová, Hana ; Stehlík, Marek (referee) ; Richtera, Lukáš (advisor)
The theme of this bachelor thesis is e-learning, instruments needed for creation of create e-learning applications, creation as such, work with basic elements forming e-learning applications and evaluation of quality of e-learning projects by Faculty of Chemistry on Brno University of Technology and Masaryk University Brno. The practical output of this thesis is a tutorial for chemical calculations focused on concentration, thinning and blending of solutions, dissolvability and crystallization. It is intended for the 1st year Faculty of Chemistry students. The tutorial was created using Adobe Flash whereas many of the instruments of this program were used. Each chapter consists of two parts. In the first part, brief theoretical information is displayed, with focus on the visual aspect. This is achieved by using visual animations, for example dissolution of crystals. The second part deals with exemplary calculations on a given subject.
Fetal ECG records analysis
Hláčiková, Michaela ; Smíšek, Radovan (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the analysis of fetal ECG records measured by indirect method from mother´s abdomen. The thesis consists of the theoretical part is focused on fetal, heart development and description of fetal ECG signal. This thesis also offers an overview of fECG signal processing methods used nowadays. The practical part of the thesis deals with the implementation of algorithms based on wavelet transformation and Least Mean Square LMS method in Matlab programming environment. The final part of the thesis consists of the analysis of achieved results.
E-Learning Course of Driving School
Hurtečák, Lubomír ; Lukáš, Roman (referee) ; Květoňová, Šárka (advisor)
Master's thesis contains basic informations about e-learning and describe it by many criteria. It also describes progress and current trends in e-learning and what is needed to create interactive study materials and courses. I analyse most important advantages and disadvantages of these courses. I designed Web-based training system (WBT) for driving school, which is implemented as a program prototype of e-learning system.
Adaptive Filters for Processing of Biological Signals
Strouhal, Martin ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis is engaged in adaptive filtering. There are described common structure of adaptive systems and possible aplications. Most usual adaptive algoritms LMS and RLS are analysed. This project aims to realization of simple adaptive system and narrow bandstop. I researched qualities of the filters and the optimal setting. At the end both systems were tested using noisy ECG signal with varriable frequency of noise
Equalization of the transmission channel
Žlebek, Lukáš ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Číž, Radim (advisor)
This thesis describes a design of a simulation of transmission of digital information via communication system and equalization of communication function. The layout of communication channel with multiway transmission is described in following part. Next part is about hardware modulator which generate modulated signal which is transmitted via communication channel and after is sampled by A/D convertion card to computer, where is equalizated and demodulated in Simulink. In the last part of this thesis, there is proposal of the laboratory task and its sample solution.
Automatic Creation of Multi-Choice Tests for ISJ
Bambas, Tomáš ; Kouřil, Jan (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is concerned with a tests creation for the ISJ course. The aim of this work is the implementation of the application which serves for an automatic intelligent creation of tests relating to scripting languages Ruby and Python and regular expressions with support of an automatic evaluating of answers.
Implementation of the channel equalization algorithms used in FMT modulation
Krejča, Libor ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
The objective of Diploma thesis is design of analysis tool for equalizers used in FMT modulation. The model of transmission channel was designed for simulations with FMT. The transmission path is modeled by test loop, which corresponds to DSL line. For this reason, some principles of DSL technology is described in the thesis. The principles of multicarrier modulation are introduced in first part. The multicarrier modulation with filter bank (FMT) is described in detail. The different methods of design the fiter bank are given and compared. Channel equalization are introduced in second part. The attention was focused on minimum mean square error filtering (MMSE). Decision feedback channel equalizer (DFE) is extended from linear MMSE equalizer. DFE equalizers were programmed in analysis tool. For computation of equalizer coeficients was used also equalizers based on adaptive algorithms and MMSE. The last part describes the results of DFE equalizers used in communication system with FMT modulation. Analysis tool was programmed in MATLAB with a graphical user interface. It allows to show mean square error, signal-to-noise ratio and transmission speed dependence on delay between original and distorted signal. Signal-to-noise ration is displayed also in individual subchannels and users can display mean square error dependence on different orders of DFE filters.
